PLACING AN ORDER
Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the Lavender Fields web site. Ordering from lavenderfieldsonline.com is safe and secure. We utilize SSL Secure Certificates to encrypt all personal data to and from our site.
To place a telephone order call toll free 1-866-898-5461. Our Design Consultants are here to provide expert assistance to our customers between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm EST, Monday through Saturday. You may also leave a message and we will call you back as soon as possible.
You may fax us your order 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-631-474-5462. You can print and fax our order formor use your own letter head.
We do our best to correctly price items. However, should there be a difference or computer error in price, we will notify you before we finalize your order.
Lavender Fields accepts credit card payments from Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. Personal checks, cashier's checks, money orders and paypal are also accepted. Personal checks must clear before your order is shipped. If your check is not received within 10 days we will consider your order cancelled.
Lavender Fields is required to collect sales tax on orders shipped to a New York address. Those who live outside New York will not be charged sales tax.
ORDER STATUS/MY ACCOUNT
In stock items generally ship within 48 hours from when the order is received. If an item is on backorder you will be notified within 24 hours of placing your order. You could then choose to wait for your order or cancel your order and your credit card will not be charged. Shipping times on custom order items vary. Please see item description for lead time. Lavender Fields is not responsible for manufacturer delays. If there is a delay you will be notified. If you are not sure when your item will ship please contact us toll free at (866)898-5461.
If you would like to receive an email confirming your order and be able to login to check order status, we suggest you create a customer account. Shopping will be quicker and easier when you are registered with Lavender Fields. Your billing and shipping address will be stored for a quicker checkout on future purchases.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Lavender Fields is pleased to ship worldwide. Shipping rates vary. Before placing an international order please contact us for a shipping quote. Lavender Fields is not responsible for custom charges and duties and for delivery delays. Not all items may be shipped internationally. Please contact us before placing your order to check if the items you are inquiring about are available for shipping to your country. Please note Lavender Fields reserves the right to refuse to ship your order if billing and shipping information is not the same and if there is a discrepancy with your order.
SHIPPING METHODS AND CHARGES
Small furnishings, décor, loungewear, accessories and bedding are typically shipped via ground service UPS and USPS. If your item arrives damaged, please retain all packaging materials and contact us at 1-866-898-5461 within 24 hours of delivery to arrange for a replacement.
Standard shipping charges are based on the total price of an order and outlined in the chart below.

EXPEDITED DELIVERY
Lavender Fields is pleased to offer expedited delivery on most of our items. Please contact us before placing an order for expedited delivery to make sure the item is in stock. Orders must be received by 12:00 pm EST to qualify for expedited delivery. Please note furniture and other custom made items may not be expedited.
FREIGHT DELIVERY
If the furniture or merchandise you ordered exceeds the weight and size standards for shipping with UPS or FedEx, shipping will be arranged with a Freight Carrier.
It is standard practice for freight companies to provide curbside delivery only. You may want to arrange for help on the day your shipment has been scheduled. Delivery does not include merchandise brought into your home, up stairs, unpacked or assembled. If you are in need of inside delivery and set up you may arrange for White Glove Service. White Glove Service usually includes merchandise brought into your home and placed in the spot you like, unpacked and assembled. There is an additional charge for White Glove Service, most freight companies offer this service and each company varies. Please let us know in advance if White Glove Service is best for you so we may quote and arrange it in advance.
Freight Delivery Time We will notify you when your order is ready to ship and you will be charged the balance due. Please allow for the additional delivery time which can take up to 4 weeks depending on your location. We are not responsible for delays from the delivery company.
Freight Receipt & Damages You must be present to receive inspect and sign for your delivery. Upon receipt of your furniture it is very important that you inspect the outside of the package and boxes very carefully. Please make note of any minor or major damage on the bill before signing and while the driver is present. If damage is present on the outside of the box or package, ask the driver to wait while you inspect your furniture. If you notice any damage please notify the Freight Company and Lavender Fields immediately. Damage resulting from shipping is the responsibility of the freight carrier and the receiver must file a claim.
Freight Payment In most cases freight is paid for when your item ships. The carrier will call you to schedule a delivery date and time.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
In-stock items We would like you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We provide free design assistance and gift selection. Fabric swatches, wood finishes and rug samples are available. If you are not sure about a color or fabric please order a swatch before placing your order. We are available to answer any questions you may have before placing your order. We would be happy to send you additional information and images if needed.
If you would like to exchange a item please give us a call at 1-866-898-5461 to receive a return authorization number. Items that are returned to us without an authorization number will not be accepted. All items must be returned within 30 days for a store credit.
All rugs 6x9 or larger will be charged a 15% restocking fee which will be deducted from your store credit. Sale items, vintage items and antiques are final sale. Items must be returned in their original package with original store receipt and in unworn, unused condition. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Several of our items ship for free. If an item that was originally shipped to you free of charge is exchanged you will be charged shipping for the exchange. Please see shipping chart for rates. Please do not return items directly to the manufacturer. We would be happy to provide a gift receipt if requested.

The return authorization number needs to be written on the outside of the box. Please be sure to insure your package before you send it. We are not responsible for lost packages sent to us.
Custom orders Custom-designed furnishings, bedding, accessories, select gifts and clothing, and other made-to-order items require a 50% deposit at the time your order is placed and the balance upon shipping. Some items require payment in full when your order is placed. This information will be noted in the item description. Custom orders are items that we do not have in stock and are ordered specifically for you. Because custom bedding is made to order and artisans craft these items to your specifications, Lavender Fields cannot accept returns of custom items. Most custom bedding orders ship to us in 4-8 weeks depending on the manufacturer. Please allow additional time for delivery. We are not responsible for manufacturer delays.
CANCELLATIONS
Lavender Fields works to ship orders as quickly as possible. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel your order after it has been placed. If you need to cancel your order please call us ASAP at 1-866-898-5461 and we will attempt to cancel your order. WARRANTIES
Lavender Fields upholds the warranties offered by the artisans and manufacturers who craft our furnishings. Because the scope and duration of our manufacturers' warranties vary, we encourage you to contact us for specific warranty information on products of interest.

REQUESTING A SWATCH OR FINISH SAMPLE
Lavender Fields is happy to offer fabric swatches and finish samples for most of our linens and furnishings in order to help you select the right item every time.
A credit card is required to process your request for finish samples although charges will not be assessed if samples are returned within three weeks. After reviewing samples, please return them in the postage paid envelope provided. Due to the high demand for our samples, Lavender Fields must charge $25 for each sample set not returned within three weeks. You may keep fabric swatches for any corresponding items that you are ordering, without penalty; however, all wood samples must be returned to Lavender Fields.
Important Notice: Due to the fact that dye lots vary, the colors in the swatches can differ from the color of the finished product.
REQUESTING A RUG SAMPLE
Lavender Fields is happy to offer rug samples for Dash and Albert and Company C rugs. We ask that all rug samples are returned in 10 days in original and unused condition. You will be responsible for paying shipping charges to have the rug sample sent to you and for the return. If you wish to order a 3x5 or larger rug we will reimburse shipping for the return. Please note you will be charged in full if rug samples are not returned in 10 days or if not in the original packages and in used condition.
COM AND CUSTOM DESIGN
Lavender Fields understands your desire for creativity and choice. We know you may have something specifically unique in mind. That's why we're proud to offer Custom Design Services.
Our designers can coordinate with our artisans to create "COM" (customer's own material) upholstered chairs and linens with fabrics of your choice. For your protection we require that you include a copy of your receipt or invoice that reflects the cost of your fabric when you ship yardage to Lavender Fields . When your COM bedding or upholstered furniture is shipped, we will insure the package for the appropriate value. If we do not receive a receipt with your COM, Lavender Fields cannot be held liable for the cost of your fabric. Only the purchase price of your Lavender Fields merchandise will be covered should it be lost or damaged in transit.
We offer fabric for purchase by the yard for window treatments, shower curtains and other items. In some cases Lavender Fields can facilitate the design and manufacture of these items, but if we cannot, we will gladly assist you in finding the right source.
Some of our furniture can be made to your specifications. We would be happy to work with you to submit a drawing to our manufacturers with your specific needs. Please contact us to inquire about the furniture that can be custom designed as not all pieces may have that option.
All sales are final on custom orders. Lavender Fields cannot accept returns or exchanges of any item marked as "custom made", special order items, COM orders, fabric yardage or any custom designed item.
OUR PRICING GUARANTEE
We want you to be confident when you buy from Lavender Fields that you are getting the lowest price possible, so we offer this guarantee: if you find the same item at a lower price, email us or call us. We will meet or beat any competitor's price!
The following conditions apply:
- Item must be sold by an authorized US distributor and does not apply to Ebay sales, Amazon stores, close-outs, misprints, special buys, special promotions, or liquidations.

Your information will be kept on file for an easy shopping experience. Please note designer discounts do not qualify for free shipping.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift Certificates are the answer to all your gift shopping needs. Available in several denominations, a gift certificate ensures that your gift is always the right size and color. Gift Certificates can be redeemed at Lavender Fields, on-line, or by calling us toll free at 1-866-898-5461.Gift Certificates are non-refundable. Please call to purchase gift certificates in excess of $1,500.00.
Paper gift certificates are mailed first class free of charge. Rush delivery is also available for $5.95. The gift certificate will be wrapped in our luxury paper and include your gift message and current catalog if available.
Electronic gift certificates are emailed to the recipient and may be redeemed immediately. Please be sure to fill out recipients email address at checkout.
GIFT WRAP
Lavender Fields would be happy to wrap most items in our signature gift wrap free of charge and enclose a gift card with your personal message. We apologize that some items are too large to be gift wrapped. Please note if an item is sent from our manufacturer we cannot gift wrap or include a gift message.
