Summer 2005
This summer is the first summer in our house. We spent the spring and the beginning of the summer pulling out the ivy and unfortunately did not take photos.

We have a really old Japanese maple tree  (probably over 100 years old) on our property that was looking real bad. We called a few tree experts and they did not have much advice to give us. I found a wonderful site http://www.treehelp.com  and purchased a kit. We also started to water the tree daily. Sure enough this year our tree looks fantastic.


                

 

We are still working on pulling out the ivy and have not planted too much this summer. We did add beautiful Adirondack furniture under our tree where we can relax. Terri loves the adirondack chairs. There was a chill in the air this morning so she sat on the chair the entire time we gardened.
