We always wanted to add some color to our dining room but never could find the right hutch or china closet and the perfect fabric for curtains. On a trip upstate New York I found this amazing hutch and knew it would add the color we needed. Then I ordered my favorite Cath Kidston fabric to make new curtains. The first chandelier we installed in our house was our favorite Chandi chandelier. We loved the contrast over our farm table. The rose painting is also a treasure from our store as well as the pitcher filled with flowers. Our general store sign was another vintage find we purchased when we moved in.

My aunt Rose taught me how to sew curtains a few months before she passed away.
When I made these curtains every stitch was for her
.

Another treasure that I love is my Americana table that I also found antiquing. This table moved with us from our old house and it was the base to add red to the room.

Here is our custom china closet that we had made out of a coat closet. Inside is a chandelier I took from the house I grew up in.
George and I love to fill our house with things that mean so much to us. Every detail makes our home special.

Our friend Pat from Mr. Tweeds Whimsy made us this gorgeous pillow as a gift when she came to visit this summer.

I love the detail on the hutch. Behind every door is a birds nest.

Unfortunately, my computer crashed with the before photos so I only have two to share.
